I hailed to another boat while kayak fishing to take the picture. I had a tape on the top of the kayak to get measurements before releasing.
Fishing with Captain Richard Andrews (Tar Pam Guide service). Richard measured it and we released her.
Great project. I have always released the bigger fish and just found out about this.
Love this idea of releasing our true game fish.

Caught on tiger bait Slick, 8ft water temp 51 degrees missed first but she came back for it.

Shit weather. Tight feeding window. Was probably thinking about what I was going to eat for lunch when she picked up the MR17. 70+ year old client held on through two blistering runs and put hands on his personal best gator at 27 inches 6 pounds.
