My nephew Kai(pictured here with my brother) had an amazing catch & release experience at DNR here in Charleston, SC. Caught on a mud minnow with a 3/0 circle hook. Doing our best to bring these kids up right!

lady on shore watched me catch this fish. asked if she could take a picture. obviously sent it to me. By the time that was done, i didnt get a picture because wanted to get it back to the water. She was very impressed that i released such a nice fish and liked my reasoning of 8 out of 1,000 and solid breeding stock!

C&at this fish was the best decision I ever made. I kept the only over 25 I caught last year. I enjoyed catching and releasing this one more than I did eating the one last year.
