Didn’t see an option for redfish on there but felt the need that I had to release this brute for another angler to enjoy the same fight I had

Caught this inshore NC flounder on Friday during slack high tide. Ralph’s Shad colored trout trick paired with eyestrike jig. Was sightcasting to a slot redfish that spooked on it. Flounder smashed the bait- a welcome surprise ! Interesting Jud had trimmed the length of the trout trick to be better suited for sightcasing reds. I wonder if the flounder would have eaten a full length bait. This fish was released.
