Turn the Tide with Release Over 20 is our inaugural fundraiser event, consisting of an afternoon by the creek celebrating conservation, community, and the people helping shape a better future for our fisheries. Set on a beautiful private property along a brackish water creek in beautiful Awendaw, SC—surrounded by marsh views, farmland, wildlife, and open skies—this gathering is all about good food, good music, and even better conversations.

Join fellow anglers, guides, conservation partners, and supporters on Sunday, March 15th, 2026 from 1 to 4pm for a family-friendly oyster roast and chili cookoff, live music, local sponsors, and a relaxed Lowcountry atmosphere. Whether you’re swapping fishing stories by the fire or enjoying the sights and sounds of the marsh, Turn the Tide is meant to feel welcoming, authentic, and easygoing.

The afternoon will also include our annual Release Over 20 awards, recognizing top participants in each state, our Organization of the Year, and our Influencer of the Year. These honors celebrate individuals and groups who are leading by example and helping move our Mission and Vision forward—one good decision at a time.
