Conservation Award Program for Businesses and Non-Profit/Clubs
Beginning in 2025, we are encouraging Businesses (for-profit) and Non-Profits/Clubs to register with Release Over 20. When you enter a fish in our database, you can now check all the entities that apply to you, and credit them with your catch. We will be displaying monthly and annual leaderboards and awarding a Conservation Trophy to the year’s top Business and Non-Profit/Club! This is a great way to get your organization involved and support conservation.
Registering your Business or Non-Profit/Club is simple, and only has to be done once. Please make sure it’s not already registered before adding yours! We look forward to watching and participating in the race for the annual Business and Non-Profit/Club conservation trophies!
How Does It Work?
Once someone has registered the Business, Non-Profit or Club, it will show up in our Main Entry Form.
When an angler enters a fish, they have the option of crediting the entity they are an employee or member of. You can select all that apply.
When you do, the entity gets credit for the release. We will be displaying leaderboards for Businesses and Non-Profits/Clubs separately. The leader in each category at the end of the year will receive an award recognizing them as the Release Over 20 conservation champion for the year!
FAQs
Can I enter my guide business or guide umbrella organization?
We ask that you do not, since we have the Get On Board guide program with it’s own set of incentives.
Is there a cost to join the program?
There is no cost, as we want to encourage as many organizations to join. We ask that you please consider making a donation in the amount of your choosing, as we rely on donations to fund the program.
What will the awards be?
This is to be determined, as budget allows. There will be separate awards for Businesses (For Profit) and Non-ProfitsClubs (Not for Profit). The entity in each category with the most releases credited will win the Release Over 20 Conservation Award.
